Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is being conducted by Merlin Entertainments Group U.S. Holdings Inc. (the “Sponsor”), a Delaware corporation with a principal place of business at One Legoland Drive, Carlsbad, CA, 92008 (a member of the Merlin Entertainments Group) and promoted by Herschel Supply Company a Canadian corporation located at 611 Alexander St, 327, Vancouver, BC V6A 1E1, Canada (the “Promoter”).

Eligibility

The LEGOLAND x Herschel Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry (the age of majority is 18 years of age in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan and 19 years of age in all remaining Canadian provinces and territories) (each an “Entrant”; collectively, “Entrants”). Individuals who are or were employees of Sponsor or Promoter, and their respective affiliates, manufacturers, sales representatives, subsidiaries or parent companies, advertising/sales promotion agencies, or judging organizations, since January 1, 2024, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, provincial/territorial, local and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or Promoter, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein. These Official Rules prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including, without limitation, advertising or Sweepstakes materials.

Sweepstakes Entry Period

The Sweepstakes Entry Period begins on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 04:00am Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 06:59pm EDT (the "Sweepstakes Entry Period"). Entries that are posted or otherwise received before or after the Sweepstakes Entry Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted only for the duration of the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

How to Enter

The following requirements apply to all entry submissions:

Duplicate or multiple entries from an Entrant will automatically disqualify them from the Sweepstakes.

To enter, Entrants must visit the Promoter’s website and enter their details. Entrants may also agree to receive communications from the Herschel Supply Co – Newsletter Sign Up; however, it is not a condition of entry. Entrants will then be directed to visit www.merlinmagic.biz/herschel, select their country of residence from the options presented, and enter their name, email address, year of birth, and postal code. Limit one (1) entry per individual or email address. Entries submitted in excess of the stated limitation will be void.

Follow the directions provided to fill out the entry information. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the Sweepstakes and on acceptance of their Prize. The Sponsor and/or Promoter cannot be held responsible for Entrants’ failing to supply accurate information which affects Prize acceptance or delivery.

All Entrants hereby agree that upon submission of their entry, Sponsor and Promoter shall have an unlimited and irrevocable right to publish in any media whatsoever the entry and use it, the Entrant’s name and likeness for any lawful purpose, including, without limitation, promotional purposes, all in perpetuity without further compensation or notice. Submission of your information in the entry constitutes your agreement that Sponsor, Promoter, and their respective affiliates, representatives, subsidiaries, or parent companies, may use your information according to their published Privacy Policy.

By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant (on behalf of him/herself and his/her minor child/children as appropriate) also releases Sponsor, Promoter, and their respective affiliates, representatives, subsidiaries, or parent companies from all liability arising from his/her entry in the Sweepstakes and utilization of the Prize components, and agrees to sign any additional documentation which Sponsor may reasonably request addressing this or any other Sweepstakes rules. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry in question, and such Entrant must be eligible in accordance with these Official Rules. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Sponsor reserves the right to request from any Entrant additional documentation it reasonably believes is necessary to validate any entry or award the Prize.

Sponsor and Promoter will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, post-due, misdirected, copied, transferred, illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender, Sponsor, or Promoter. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an email account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes. Use of any automated system or any like methods to participate in the Sweepstakes is prohibited and will result in disqualification of any Entrant attempting such use.

Prize Drawing

On or about September 1, 2025, the Sponsor will select one (1) potential Prize winner through an electronic, randomized drawing conducted from all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received within the Sweepstakes Entry Period. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and any decisions of the judges, if applicable, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning the Sweepstakes Prize depend on the number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

Winner Notification

The Sponsor will attempt to contact and notify the potential winner via email on or before September 20, 2025, using the email address provided in the entry. If the potential winner declines the Prize or cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Prize will be forfeited. Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries and the winner notification process will begin again.

The selected potential Prize winner will be required to complete, electronically sign, and submit a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim the Prize. The selected potential Prize winner must also answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question posed in the Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or fails to return the Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within the required time period (if applicable), the potential winner forfeits the Prize. The winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

Prize

A total of one (1) Prize will be awarded as detailed below:

The Prize winner of the Sweepstakes will be provided a trip to the LEGOLAND Resort in the United States nearest to the winner’s ordinary place of residence in Canada. Prize includes:

Return travel for two (2) adults and two (2) children from the winner’s nearest major international airport to the LEGOLAND Resort in the United States nearest to the winner’s ordinary place of residence in Canada (that is, California, Florida, or New York);
Two (2) Day’s Park admission for two (2) adults and two (2) children at their nearest LEGOLAND Resort;
Two (2) Night’s accommodation in a LEGOLAND Hotel for two (2) adults and two (2) children;
Breakfast for two (2) adults and two (2) children in the hotel restaurant each morning;
$200 USD LEGOLAND Gift Voucher to spend in the LEGOLAND® Big Shop;
Four (4) x Goody Bags consisting of LEGOLAND® merchandise and souvenirs; and
Four (4) x Hardshell LEGO x Herschel Suitcases.

Collectively, the elements above are referred to herein as the “Prize”. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize is USD $4,842.

The Prizes and all Prize components are subject to any applicable terms and conditions, and availability at the time of booking. The Prize must be booked as one (1) entire package and may not be separated into individual elements taken at separate times. The booking must occur within twelve (12) months from the date of winning and take place at least eight (8) weeks in advance of the trip.

No cash or other alternative prizes are available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Sponsor or Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the Prizes will only be awarded directly to the winner. The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, not for resale and there is no cash alternative available.

The actual Prize value and ARV may vary depending on the city of departure and fluctuations in airfare charges, hotel rooms, and other trip-related elements. Any difference between the actual value of the Prize and the stated ARV (if less than the actual value) will not be awarded. All Prize-related travel must be taken on the designated dates, according to Sponsor’s directions or the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting.

Each guest must be at least eighteen (18) years old and the age of majority in their province/territory of residence, or a minor child/legal ward of the winner. Each guest, or such guest’s parent/legal guardian in the event the guest is a minor, must also sign a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within the time period stated during the winner notification process.

All Prize-related travel arrangements will be administered by Sponsor’s authorized designee. All travel must be booked prior to departure. Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, weather, seasonal influences and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change. The winner and the winner’s guests will be required to travel on identical itineraries, including the same departure date and return date. Air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. Guests must stay in the same hotel room as winner. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for upgrades, frequent flyer miles or any other promotional benefit. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets (including any event tickets or admission passes), travel vouchers or certificates or similar items once they are in a winner’s possession or in the possession of a guest. Sponsor will determine flight itinerary in its sole discretion. Once hotel and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and those set forth by Sponsor’s air travel supplier, as detailed in the passenger ticket contract issued by such supplier. If a winner elects to travel or partake in the Prize with no guests, no additional compensation will be awarded to the winner.

The winner and the winner’s travel guests must be legally able to travel to the US and be in possession of all required travel documentation, including but not limited to valid passports (winner and guest passports must be valid for six (6) months or more prior to the date of departure in connection with the Prize). Sponsor is not liable if the winner and/or the winner’s guests are refused entry or re-entry into the US or re-entry into Canada. If, for any reason, travel is delayed, impeded or refused by Canada, US, or other immigration/border control authorities, the Prize may be forfeited (in whole or in part) and winner and/or winner’s guests will be solely responsible for any additional expenses incurred. The winner and guests acknowledge that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for any part of the Prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to arrive (and to ensure that the winner’s guests arrive) at the designated gateway airport in time for each flight that is part of the Prize. The winner is responsible for all in-room charges (e.g., mini-bar, movies), telephone calls, meals, beverages, gratuities, upgrades, personal incidentals, amenities and any other fees and expenses not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules. The winner will be required to provide a major credit card upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges will be charged to the credit card. Any damage to the room attributed to the winner and/or the winner’s guests will be the responsibility of the winner.

Sponsor bears no responsibility if any event, element or detail of the Prize is canceled, postponed or becomes unavailable for any reason. Should any event, element or detail of the Prize become unavailable, the Sponsor shall have no obligation to the winner aside from providing the travel portion of the Prize, minus any unavailable event, element or detail. Each winner and the winner’s guests shall be subject to all terms and conditions printed on any ticket issued in conjunction with the Prize. In the event a winner and/or any guest is denied entry into any ticketed event or is removed or barred from any ticketed event location for any reason, the Sponsor is not responsible and no further compensation or award will be provided.

General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination, award the Prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including, without limitation, legal fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor or Promoter to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Promoter, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the Prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted, or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) application downloads, (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winner, the incorrect downloading of the application, the processing of entries application downloads or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrants’ participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, or misuse of the Prize (including, without limitation, any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Entrant be entitled to receive legal fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes.

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use any winner’s name, likeness, biographical information, photographs, and any statements or remarks made about winning or participating in the Sweepstakes for advertising and promotional purposes (in any medium) without additional compensation or notice. Sponsor may verify that the winners are qualified.

Privacy

Any and all personal information provided by the Entrant in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used solely by the Promoter (or its appointed agents) to assist with running the Sweepstakes; The Promoter will not contact you for reasons other than this Sweepstakes unless you have provided your express consent. All personal information will be handled in accordance with any applicable current privacy legislation and Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: https://herschel.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the Entrant agrees to the use of their personal information as described here.
