Oasis Thorpe Park Promotion Terms and Conditions

This promotion (“the Promotions”) consists of three parts: (1) Online Instant Win Promotion, (2) Wrap-Up Draw, and (3) £5 Discount Code Gift Giveaway.  These Terms and Conditions apply to all three parts unless stated otherwise, and prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or Promotion materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

Eligibility:

 

1. This Promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), aged 18 years or over, purchasing a valid promotional bottle of Oasis. Excludes employees of the Promoter, Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola EuroPacific Partners, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion.
2. Purchase is necessary as described below. Internet access required. Retain proof of purchase, as this will be required in the event of a claim.
3. Online Instant Win Promotion: The Online Instant Win Promotion opens at 09:00 BST on 01.05.24 and closes for qualifying entries at 23:59 BST on 31.06.24 (“Online Instant Win Promotional Period”).
4. Wrap Up Draw: There will be a Wrap Up Draw on 01.10.24 from all valid entries received between 00:00 on 01.07.24 and 23:59 on 30.09.24 (“Wrap Up Draw Period”). All entries received after the close of the Wrap Up Draw Period will be ineligible and will not be entered into any draw.
5. £5 Discount Code Gift: to obtain a discount code for £5 off Advance Online Priced tickets to Thorpe Park, an entrant must enter during the Online Instant Win Promotional Period.

 

 

How to enter:

 

6. To enter, participants must purchase a promotional bottle of Oasis from participating retailers. Promotional bottles will be clearly marked with details of this Promotion. Full list of qualifying promotional Oasis products:

7. Entrants are required to visit www.merlinmagic.biz/oasis, enter valid barcode as printed on the promotional bottle of Oasis along with Entrant’s full name, mobile telephone number and valid email address. The barcode can be found on back of pack and consists of 13 digits.
8. Each promotional bottle allows a single entry into either the Online Instant Win Promotion or the Wrap Up Draw. Maximum of 1 entry per day per customer across both promotional periods (every new entry requires purchase of an additional bottle).
9. Only one email address and one mobile number may be used to enter per customer.
10. Maximum of one of each type of prize may be won per customer/email/number during the Online Instant win Promotional Period.
11. Only genuine batch codes and barcodes printed on promotional bottles can be used. Batch codes and bar codes cannot be sold or transferred. Any attempts to undermine the use of genuine batch codes or bar codes in this Promotion will mean disqualification of entry.
12. Entry requires the purchase of a participating promotional bottle of Oasis. Please retain proof of purchase (e.g. the promotional bottle or till receipt) for each individual entry, as this will be required for verification in the event of a win. Please note proof of purchase must pre-date each entry during the Promotional Periods.  Each purchase of a promotional bottle can only be used to enable a single entry.
13. Gift: £5 off Advance Online Priced tickets to Thorpe Park:
    1. All entrants not winning a Prize during the Online Instant Win Promotional Period will be invited to claim a discount code offering £5 off the Advance Online Priced Ticket to Thorpe Park.
    2. There is no limit to the number of discount codes that can be obtained and used per customer, and each discount code may be redeemed against a maximum of 4 tickets in a single transaction.
    3. The discount code will be in the form of a Unique Reference Number (URN). The URN and booking instructions will be emailed to the entrant via the email address supplied at point of entry on www.merlinmagic.biz/oasis to use at a later date.
    4. £5 off discount codes are valid for use on visits occurring until 31.10.24.
    5. Entrants acknowledge that the £5 discount is subject to Thorpe Park’s Standard Terms and Conditions available at thorpepark.com/terms-conditions
    6. Discount codes are only valid for use on advance bookings made before 11.59pm (23:59 Hours) the day before the date of visitation.
    7. Merlin Entertainments may limit offer ticket allocations, subject to a minimum number allocated to every day Thorpe Park is open. The minimum allocation of tickets during OFF PEAK, SUPER OFF PEAK, SUPER PEAK and PEAK dates (*see table B below for details of these dates) shall be as set out in table A below. As these are minimum allocations, Merlin Entertainments may (at its sole discretion) from time to time make additional tickets available for particular attractions, so you may wish to check back later if your preferred attraction and date combination are not available when you first attempt to book.

14. The offer is subject to the attractions’ annual opening calendars. All dates are subject to change and may differ from those listed in Table B. Please check all opening dates and times before your visit on the Thrope Park Official Website: www.thorpepark.com
15. The entry must be made directly by a customer of Oasis. Syndicated entries, multiple entries or email accounts or those made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified.
16. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or invalid entries will not be accepted. The Promoter(s) takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
17. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
18. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on acceptance of their prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for entrants failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

1. Accommodation is based on two adults sharing a standard Thorpe Shark Cabin on a bed and breakfast basis.
2. Unless otherwise stated, meals and other expenses are not included.
3. All bookings are subject to availability and must be booked a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, prior to the 30th September 2024.
4. Includes parking for one car.
5. 1 x Day Fastrack includes unlimited entry to 18 rides including our top coasters, thrill rides and water rides. To ensure you have the best experience, limited Fast Track tickets are available each day. Rides are subject to availability, and may be unavailable without notice. In the event an attraction is unavailable you can ride another listed attraction a second time. Height and chest restrictions apply.
6. VIP Hyperia Access is valid for one ride per person only and is subject to availability.
7. No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Attraction unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such child or children whilst on site must remain under the supervision of an adult at all times.
8. Thorpe Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity.
9. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides.
10. Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking.
11. For the avoidance of doubt, travel is not included and is at the winners’ own expense.
12. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, not for resale and there is no cash alternative available.

 

 

2. Online Instant Win: Thorpe Park Gold Annual Passes Prize includes:
   • 2 x Gold Annual Passes valid for use at Thorpe Park for 12 months from the date the Pass is activated. Gold Annual Passes must be activated before 31 October 2024.

4. A THORPE PARK Gold Annual Pass entitles the holder to admission to THORPE PARK Resort only from the date of redemption for 12 months excluding:

7. All Passholders must pre-book their admission and present both the reservation and their valid Pass at the turnstiles.

24. No cash or other alternative prizes are available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter(s), the Promoter(s) reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter(s), the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners.

 

Winner Selection, Notification and Claim:

Online Instant Win Promotion

 

25. Online Instant Winner Selection: During the Online Instant Win Promotional Period, 2,029 Winning Moments (i.e. specific points in time) have been randomly pre-selected (date, hours, minutes, seconds) and evenly distributed via a computer algorithm. The first entrant that enters on a Winning Moment will win a prize. Entrants will find out instantly if they have won a prize. If no entry is received on a Winning Moment, the prize from that Winning Moment will not be rolled over into the next winning moment and will be lost. There is no guarantee that all prizes will be won in the Online Instant Win Promotional Period. If multiple entrants hit the same Winning Moment, the entry processed by the server first will be the winning entry. The animation used in the gamification has no bearing on the outcome.

 

Online Instant Winner Notification: Winners will be immediately notified on-screen if they have won a prize. Winners will receive confirmation of their prize from [email protected]. If no correspondence is received within 24 hours, Winners should check their email's spam or junk folder for the notification. If no email is present, Winner’s should contact [email protected]. The winners will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize within 14 days of initial contact by return.  In the event that a winner does not provide the required details within 14 days of initial contact, is ineligible or rejects their prize, the Promoter(s) reserves the right to disqualify that winner and re-allocate the prize to the Wrap Up Draw (in which case, such prize would be allocated to an entrant into the Wrap-Up Prize Draw, as indicated below).

 

Online Instant Winner Claim: For verification of all prize or gift claims during the Online Instant Win Promotional Period, entrants should retain or be able to provide proof of purchase (such as a receipt) for each entry they have made on www.merlinmagic.biz/oasis. Proof of purchase must pre-date the entry.

 

Wrap-Up Draw

Wrap Up-Draw Winner Selection: The 1 x winner of an Overnight break at Thorpe Park Resort for 2 people will be randomly drawn by computer process from all valid entries received during the Wrap Up Draw Period on 01.10.24.

 

Wrap Up-Draw Winner Notification: Winner will be contacted via the email address supplied on entry by 02.10.24 and will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize within 14 days of initial contact. If a winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, are ineligible or reject their prize, the Promoter(s) reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve winner selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize. It is the responsibility of entrants to check junk/spam folders to ensure they are in receipt of any communications. Upon receipt of a valid claim and after the completion of the verification process, prize winners will receive further instructions of how to book their prize.

 

Wrap Up-Draw Winner Claim: For verification of all prize claims during the Wrap Up Draw Period, entrants should retain or be able to provide proof of purchase (such as a receipt) for each entry they have made on www.merlinmagic.biz/oasis. Proof of purchase must pre-date the entry.

 

General Information:

 

26. Any tax liability arising from receipt of the prize(s) will be the responsibility of the recipient.
27. Prizes and gifts are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted or auctioned. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating.
28. The Promoter(s) reserves the right to further verify all entries and the winners including but not limited to asking proof of address, proof of purchase and proof of ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the Promotion or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
29. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all Promotion matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
30. A list of the prize winners’ surnames and their counties of residence (for each of the Online Instant Win Promotion and the Wrap-Up Draw), will be available by emailing [email protected] within 3 months of the relevant part of the Promotion closing. We reserve the right to refuse any or all such requests. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting [email protected]. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
31. Winners may be requested, but are not obliged, to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this Promotion. The Promoter may request to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity.
32. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of prizes, including the delay or amend of winning moments, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter(s) and which prevents the Promoter(s) from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
33. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
34. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the Promotion.
35. Sometimes, through reasons outside of the Promoter’s control, the website (as with any website) may not be accessible. The Promoter cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the website. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in entering, claiming or any entries/claims delayed or corrupted due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.
36. Limitations of liability: insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Promotion parties assume any responsibility or liability for: -
37. Any incorrect or inaccurate entries, or for any faulty, incorrect, errors or failed electronic data transmissions;
38. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion;
39. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof;
40. Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to participants’ computers or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion.

 

37. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion; or to be acting in any manner the Promoter reasonably considers to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions.
38. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
39. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
40. Any and all personal data provided by you in connection with this Promotion will be used solely by the Promoter(s) (or its appointed agents) to: (i) assist with running the Promotion; and/or (ii) conduct analytics to improve the Promoter’s promotions, products or services. The Promoter(s) (or its appointed agents) will not contact you for reasons other than this Promotion unless you have provided your express consent.
